Marlene M. Sato, Esquire
Senior Associate Attorney
Marlene M. Sato joined Law Offices of Scott Klotzman, P.A. in August 2019. She is a trial attorney whose practice is entirely dedicated to litigating property insurance claims.
Mrs. Sato received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University with a major in Finance. Upon graduating in 2009, Marlene began working for a civil litigation firm. It was during this time that she desired to become an attorney.
In the Fall of 2011, Marlene commenced her legal studies at St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, Marlene earned a CALI Book Award in Florida Criminal Procedure; received an Outstanding Public Service Award for the Class of 2014; and was the recipient of the Kenneth Feldman Scholarship.
Mrs. Sato also actively volunteered as a certified legal intern at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she gained valuable hours of courtroom experience, conducted legal research and drafted legal motions and pleadings.
Marlene M. Sato served as the Research Assistant for Dean Alfredo P. Garcia during the Spring 2014 semester. After graduating from St. Thomas School of Law, Marlene turned her attention to civil litigation including small claims, divorce, and bankruptcy cases. For the last several years, she has concentrated solely on assisting property owners with their underpaid and denied property claims.
Since joining the firm, Mrs. Sato has noticed a change. “My focus on client care has increased dramatically in the short time I’ve been here. Turning clients to “raving fans’ is my biggest goal since joining the firm.”
Marlene M. Sato currently lives in Miami, Florida with her husband & children. You can find Marlene in the Everglades hiking with her family when not practicing law.
